The Lorax (Marisa)

Courtesy of Teachingchildrenphilosophy.org
This version of The Lorax was relatively entertaining, and certainly inspiring. Maybe just like that kid, we'll hit upon a good idea and become inspired by that idea while we scramble to obtain a high grade for this project. Maybe we won't. However, the best way to reach to better Kamehameha as well as get a good grade is to put a whole lot of effort into this project. If we as a group really become altruistic or inspired, like Ted from the movie, we can accomplish something great. Anyway, watching The Lorax was a good way to prepare us for our project. Even though there may be complaints about the movie, the final theme of altruism and hope still resounds strongly within it.

THOUGHTS AND OUTLOOK

The first thought for this project is that we want to create something that will help students enjoy the school day better. Some of the problems that we came up with off the top of our heads was the roof at the Kunuiakea stadium. The roof currently has holes in it and does not block the sun. This defeats the purpose of having a roof on the stadium. Another problem we thought of during our brainstorm was air conditioned bathrooms. Though it sounds retarded, it is a useful idea. These are the only two ideas we thought of as a group. With more brainstorming to be done, there are many more problems that we should think of so that we have options.
